Top Four Metros Unchanged in June’s Employment Report

2.2 Million Jobs Added Nationwide in Past Year

Jobs gains of 2.2 million in the year ending in July kept the national employment market hopping, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

New York, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles were once again the top job-creation metros. Meanwhile, three Florida markets -- North Port, Gainesville and Fort Lauderdale -- joined Des Moines, IA as the metros with the highest percentage of job growth.
