The market for Salt Lake City apartments has been strong in the past year, as a new report from RealPage showed that it had the fifth highest effective rent growth in the nation in the second quarter of 2017.

This rent growth strength comes despite a steady stream of apartment supply over the past 10 years. The Salt Lake City apartment market was one of the few in which supply did not decelerate during the Great Recession.
