Market Momentum Survey is Split on Retention in Atlanta

Some Think it Will Rise, Others Not So Sure

Atlanta apartments' resident retention

Some apartment industry leaders surveyed in the second-quarter Market Momentum report said they thought resident retention in Atlanta apartments would increase over the next year, while others said the retention rate would fall.

The last three years of data show a trend toward increased resident retention -- until recently. The retention rate has fallen since February, just as Atlanta apartment supply is increasing.
