Ronald G. Johnsey
Ronald G. Johnsey is passionate about driving Axiometrics’ vision. Since launching Axiometrics in 1995, Johnsey has grown the apartment and student housing market research firm into a market-leading innovator.
Johnsey has more than 35 years of experience in developing, financing, marketing and managing high-profile commercial and residential properties, worth more than $1 billion, in major U.S. markets. Johnsey was formerly director and member of the executive and asset management committees of ConCap Equities Inc., and has had senior positions with The First National Bank of Chicago, Texas Commerce Bank, The Farb Co. and Dimension Development Co. He was also vice president of acquisitions and asset management with Canadian merchant banking company Gordon Investment Corp.
He is an advisory director for the Real Estate Research Institute and Chandan Economics. Johnsey received his B.A. from Birmingham Southern College, a Master of Business Administration from Emory University and a J.D. from Cumberland School of Law.
Keith Walters has spent more than 25 years successfully growing businesses with an entrepreneurial focus. At Axiometrics, he is responsible for guiding the company in a rapid growth path and overseeing the daily activities that strengthen the company’s vision.
With his help, Axiometrics attracts the brightest talent focused on continuous quality improvement for data-driven products and services.
Before joining Axiometrics, Walters leveraged his unique blend of business expertise, technical background and operational talents as president and chief operating officer of Sagiss LLC, a Dallas-based IT managed services provider. Walters also served as vice president and general manager with Keane Inc., another IT services company eventually acquired by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Group of Japan. Additionally, Walters spent several years as director with Nims Associates, a powerhouse regional IT consulting company, before its acquisition by Keane Inc.
Walters is a graduate of the University of Arkansas.
Corbin J. Baumel
Corbin J. Baumel is a 20-year veteran of corporate finance, and has spent most of the past decade leading companies' financial departments as CFO or Vice President of Finance. He thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment such as Axiometrics, where he is responsible for financial management, development and maintenance of internal controls and processes, as well as development and oversight of financial forecasting and budgeting activities.
Before joining Axiometrics, Baumel served as CFO of Platinum Training, LLC,; CFO of LPB Energy, later Ecova Inc.; Director of Treasury Services for Intervoice Inc.; and Manager of Finance and Treasury with Massergy Communications Inc.
Baumel received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business and his Master of Business Administration in finance and management from Columbia Business School in New York.
Jay Denton leads Axiometrics’ analytics team of economists and researchers. Denton’s many accomplishments, combined with a devotion to cutting-edge data, have been invaluable in his direction of Axiometrics’ research and analytics development platform.
Denton and his team provide incisive statistics and exceptional analytics that assists clients in making productive and profitable investment decisions when it comes to buying, selling, building and owning apartment and student housing properties.
As one of Axiometrics’ pioneers, Denton helped grow the company into a nationally recognized market research firm known for its trusted and unspoiled apartment market and student housing solutions. Throughout his tenure, Denton has introduced and perfected state-of-the-art research methodologies, processes, products and scheduling to help ensure the quality, consistency and timeliness of the information collected. Much of Denton’s innovations became the gold standard by which other companies endeavored to duplicate.
Denton works closely with Axiometrics clients—ranging from REITs, to large owners and operators, to high net-worth syndicates—on areas including acquisition and development studies, supply and demand forecasts and market selection.
Claudine Zachara oversees the sales, marketing and the client success departments at Axiometrics. She has been key in developing marketing and sales strategy that have increased brand visibility and revenue growth. Her focus revolves around the client experience, and ensuring that strategy and execution align to deliver top results.
Prior to her role here at Axiometrics, Ms. Zachara oversaw the sales, marketing and operations teams at Heska Corporation for many years, and served on the company’s leadership team. She has held several board positions for non-profits and municipalities, and consulted for companies on three continents.
Ms. Zachara received her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and earned her Masters of Business Administration from Colorado State University.
Andre Pavlovic, with more than two decades of experience in technology-based product, marketing and operations success, is charged with driving innovation, client experience and net new product offerings.
In his previous roles, Pavlovic has established strategic product management function, streamlined end-to-end delivery cycles and built and led teams that drove innovation in product and strategic function. He also has a keen understanding and passion for fast-growing businesses, like Axiometrics, having co-founded and served as CEO for multiple startups.
Pavlovic earned his MBA with an emphasis on Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University's George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management, and a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis on Information Systems/Decision Sciences from California State University-Fullerton.
Stephanie McCleskey has been instrumental in developing—and maintaining—the foundation supporting the timely collection and dissemination of in-depth apartment market and student housing data. Her tenure at Axiometrics has generated a rigorous quality control method to ensure on-time reports and accurate data for Axiometrics clients.
McCleskey also organized and now oversees research and tracking processes for Axiometrics’ construction pipeline process, creating the methodology to update under-construction and lease-up properties on a monthly basis, thus ensuring clients have access to immediate and indispensable data for effective decision making purposes. Additionally, her efforts are focused on supervising, managing, motivating and training a value-add team of Axiometrics researchers.
McCleskey received her degree in real estate finance from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business.
Jeff Dowdle has more than 15 years of experience in the multifamily industry, most of that time involved in the marketing and disposition of multifamily properties and selling to companies in the multifamily space.
Dowdle thrives in a fast-paced environment with high-growth potential, such as Axiometrics. He favors an environment where he is responsible for the sales growth and training of the team members responsible for that growth. Sales has long been a passion for Dowdle, and he is always looking to improve himself and the team he manages through new systems and enhancements to make salespeople more successful.
Before joining Axiometrics, Dowdle was with CoStar Group as a senior account executive focused on sales in the Dallas area, and was also a successful as a multifamily broker for 10 years with Marcus & Millichap, one of the largest brokerage firms in the country.
Dowdle received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and possesses a Texas Real Estate License.
